Will I have to type 3 million lines of code to get it to paste a structure into Word?I sincerely wish there was a viable alternative available, as it would make CambridgeSoft less lazy and fix their products more quickly. For instance, this issue with cut and paste on a mac would not be an issue if CambrisgeSoft had implemented OLE when it was introduced over 10 years ago. But no, they stuck with EGO, which became obsolete with Word 6, and we have not had the pleasure of double clicking a scheme to edit it since.Why couldnt you implement OLE on a mac platform, like you did on Windows?Anyway, back to the current issue - why do I have to type in a reg code every time? I did have a demo copy of ChemDraw 12.0.2 to see if it would work with Keynote before I bought it. If I open the ChemDraw plist file it has 'test' written in it with little else - the ChemDraw 11 plist file has allsorts of information. I'm guessing this is the issue - the 12.0.2 update dmg that you have posted does not rewrite the plist file? Is it the demo version you have posted, not an update to a legitimately bought copy?One day it will all work together and everyone will be happy!P.S.

Hello-I'm attempting to install my brand new ChemDraw Std. 12.0 for Mac. I've made it to where I'm just opening the installed application, I've already 'personalized' it and registered it online. When I open the application, the program prompts me to fill out the personalization information again. The problem is that it won't let me type anything in the Registration Code line. Regardless of any information I put into the Name, Organization, and Serial Number boxes, I can't type in the Reg.

The 'try again later' button just quits the program.Any suggestions? I'm trying to install ChemBioDraw Ultra 13.0, after having scrubbed my computer of all traces of ChemDraw Ultra 12.0, and it's still not working. I even installed a new admin account, and I'm getting the same failure: I enter my serial number and registration code, then all's OK and I proceed to the next window.

The installer says if needs to create some folder,s but makes some weird statement about not copying files by default, and whether I hit 'finish' right away or try designating a custom location for the foder ChemBioUltra, the program simply blinks out with no error message.This is incredibly stupid!!!! Why can't these programmers simply write an 'uninstall' program that works! This is expenseive software and we deserve better.
